Charge Her Up

Well so much for writing one poem/lyric a day. hmm. Oh, fuck it. Here's one I wrote at work last night. Picture me singing this with braids (future dreads, possibly. Depends. Standby).

Time to spit truth
That's been chewed up
And twisted inside out,
Spit this fire upon them,
The rage building within,
The injustice in this land,
The laws crippling
The young and the poor,
A warm happy trigger,
Cold shoulders,
Their silent assassin
Putting an end to rights and equality,
Winning the war,
Cashing the prize,
A few million in change a day
Causing a few million to die every hour.

Time is now,
Time to unleash the beast,
Unleash the beast within!!
R-E-B-E-L.

The wire wrapped around
The neck of those who fail to please,
No money, no life,
No land, no honor,
Everything striped,
Bodies bleeding,
Clenched fist, blood pumping,
This disease filing the air,
Their gun clearing the way,
A massive destruction
For a little more profit,
Another hill for them to climb,
Another town for them to burn.

Time is now,
Time to unleash the beast,
Unleash the beast within!!
R-E-B-E-L.

Set, Let's Go!

Hello sweetness,
How is everything?
Glad you're alright,
Now this day can begin,
But you're standing still,
Just silent,
How the wheels turn,
Looking down into the ocean,
This splendid view,
Is there something I should know?
Your eyes scream for help,
Deep down I know something's wrong,
But you won't let me know what,
Don't let yourself
Shatter like this.

Breaking down,
Now's not a good time,
Holding up, bloodshot eyes,
Look at the way we spend tonight,
Confused and shaken up,
This conversations hanging on a thread,
Deep down (x4)
Everything's giving out,
Nothing to fear,
We thrive through the worst.

Camouflage

Long shot,
Hard look,
Times a changin',
Bruised ribs,
A hustler at best,
This scar will last forever,
Hard to sleep at night,
We're on this
Collision course,
Twisted view,
Everything is changing.

Midnight melting mind,
Nothing makes sense to me,
Living long lips,
Nothing makes sense to me,
This head on collision,
Tearing away,
Down, diving down,
Nothing makes sense to me,
Break, burning bones,
That fire in the sky.

Lying Down, Dying Alone

Still seeing the same things,
Living on the streets,
Dying alone,
Wondering about the life
That could never been had,
Leaving it all behind,
Lying down,
The trash is your source,
With everything,
Nothing's ever enough.

Staring at the sun,
Your life seems to fade,
Not knowing when,
But you can hear the ticking noises
Like in a bomb,
Forbidding passions,
Lost entertainment,
Living in the same ditch
Seems like forever,
Nothing's ever enough,
Dying alone.

Everything Tangled Up

The cold in November,
The summer in October,
Out in the rain,
She leads the way,
I'm chasing my own tail,
She believes things will change,
Running in circles,
She lays her head in the grass,
No sun,
Nothing stays the same,
I keep telling her,
It can't hurt,
She's crying,
Now I'm leaving.

Humidity in December,
Summer clothes in January,
Everything collides,
Happiness doesn't last forever,
She does what she can,
But she's lost in the words
Rolling off her tongue,
Living the dream,
But the lies are killing her softly,
Another steep hill,
Oh, she's climbing to the top,
But she can't make it,
She's crying,
Everything tangled up.

Wherever the Wave Takes Her

She walks by the sea shore,
In the middle of the night,
Thinking of commitments
And her troubled life,
The light that dims quickly,
Silently,
A flash of neverending disasters,
Her feet buried in the white sand,
Living a lie,
Fluorescent skies,
Darken tone,
Her decisions crumble,
Lying in a mess,
She'll turn wherever the wave pushes her.

Dropped from the sky,
A layer of sadness
On her tainted soul,
Cradling in the sun,
She's writing down her thoughts,
But they lead to nowhere,
Lying down,
Darker clouds,
The rain begins to fall on her pretty face,
Sense and misery,
Wherever the wave takes her.

Some Things to Mention

Side Project, Sunrise Above The Mountains, is half completed; there are seven lyrics so far. I will be taking a short break and continue blogging some poems/lyrics as seen in my last three blogs. Other than my side project, I will work on shorter poems/lyrics, but at the same time I will continue leaving them open for interpretation. I think I will blog atleast one poem/lyric from my side project this week or the next. I'm just keeping it within a similar theme.
I'm also thinking of taking on another side project, perhaps at the same time as the current side project. As for what the side project will focus on is anybodies guess. Any ideas is appreciated.
Actually, I have thought about blogging at least one poem/lyric per day - perhaps for 15 days straight (to begin with). You know what? I will try this out starting either Friday or Saturday.

That Bullet that Cold Rocked Ya

Mic or the heater,
Bullets and pepper spray,
Flesh and spilled blood,
This bullet cold rocked ya,
Bombs from either side,
A storm that never rests,
Shaded gray,
Monumental catastrophe,
Hijacked; stripped, tortured,
Hijacked; heroes, vigilantes,
Hijacked; shady vision,
Ditches occupied,
Fists clutching crosses,
But a God that never answers.

Salt poured,
Wounds burning,
Clutching your throat,
A million rounds a second,
Bodies filled with holes,
Holy ground,
Anywhere, blood sheds,
People; making choices, freedom,
People; slaved to religion, dark future,
People; confused, seek shelter,
People; starving, dying,
The sky is black,
The hour is stresses morning,
Here come the bombs.

Burning Bright

Glacier,
Storm brewing
Above our eyes,
Mixtures and textures,
Poison in the sky,
Words worth wealth,
Paper bills
We fall like dominoes,
Similar patterns,
The lines in our hands,
Scars and tissues,
What goes down does not always rise.

Sirens,
Yellow and red
Blazing in the streets,
The roaring lions
Ripping our hearts,
Greed, possessors, controllers,
Dropping in the fire
Motherfuckers,
Rocky roads,
Tumble, struggle, fall,
What goes down does not always rise.

Vanilla Sky

Blooming in spring,
Wet roses fall from the sky,
Sparks ignite
Love divine,
Here to hear your voice,
Soothe me,
White lily,
Vanilla clouds,
Your thin astonishing smile.

Deep down,
Steep rise,
Sweet Rose,
Stunning eyes,
Shining bright,
Crimson light,
Still blooming,
Your pinkish glow,
The petals rise
And then they fall.

Update on the Side Project: Sunshine Above the Mountains

"Sunshine Above the Mountains" is shaping up to be something sweet - more or less what I envision it to be. So far I have written five lyrics, which do NOT include "Hit Me," "Dark Horizon," "Plastic at 1:12" or "Light it Up." Each lyric I have written for "Sunshine Above the Mountains" reflects sunshine (my interpretation of it - what it brings. Not anything cheesy, if that is what you are wondering), romantic and a little darkness as usual. I have written one several minutes ago, but I have not come up with a title yet.
I try to make my lyrics open for interpretation, but that does not mean I do not have a theme or point I plan to achieve. I do, but I also enjoy playing around with lines, words and meanings within the lyrics that enable the reader to dissect several ideas, meanings and, hopefully, something they can relate to in life.
My last side project was writing lyrics reflecting on certain countries, cities and so on. Making some connection - a heavy connection, actually. Although I haven't written one for a while, I have not counted out writing several in the future. These lyrics are seen at the beginning of this blog.
As you can tell, I have not blogged as much as I wished in the past two months. However, I will make a greater effort this summer. I seem to be much more focused on writing better lyrics and editing them a lot more; this is the reason why "THAT" lyric is not yet posted (might not be in a long while) and for several others as well.

Light It Up

We are sinners today,
We were sinners yesterday,
We'll be sinners forever and ever.

You can't convert me! (x3)

This whole city is broken down,
This whole world will be engulfed in a flame,
Hell on earth for many centuries,
A whole population taken control by every religion,
Century long beliefs
Covered by the lies and the new elements,
Born a Christian,
But now I realize they try to control my direction,
Every faith has its own demons,
One God to follow,
But here's another thirty,
A fictional master controling our reality,
Yes I'm a sinner,
But so is every faith.

You can't convert me!
Evil is everywhere,
You can't convert me!
Your lies are being exposed.

Yes I'm a sinner,
But so is every follower,
Why so depressed?
You control half the minds,
I control my direction,
The night is deadly,
I'll choose if I want to play this game,
Yes I'm a sinner,
But I won't let you control me.

You can't convert me!
Evil is everywhere,
You can't convert me!
Your lies are being exposed.

We are sinners today,
We were sinners yesterday,
We'll be sinners forever and ever.

Plastic at 1:12

A mind filled with mayhem,
The eyes have met destruction,
And everyday feels the same,
Nothing feeling right,
Nothing making sense anymore,
Everyone's made of stone,
He takes his daughter's hand,
Light tissues,
Her broken dreams,
Plastic tears,
The halo glow above her eyes,
But her arm is torn to pieces.

Wait for me,
This is not where I belong,
I'm not perfect,
But neither are you.

The stool
Where she sits all day,
Opening her eyes to disorder,
Nothing feels the same when she appears,
Plastic tears,
Hollow point,
Empty thoughts,
Shattered vase,
Tainted eyes,
We fear dying,
We fear looking forward,
We fear moving on.

Wait for me,
Is this what I'm supposed to be?

Dark Horizon

From the shadows,
Into your home,
The ticking clock
Is a ticking bomb,
Wasted and waiting
To close in on your prey,
Eyes turning bloodshot red,
Now at a boiling point,
Control is gone,
From the sky,
Your own shadow,
We're all the same.

Everyone's got a dark side,
Each and everyone,
You're tearing us,
Everyone's got a dark side,
Each and everyone,
You're tearing us apart!

Twisted and confused,
It's another march of the pigs,
Humans hunting humans,
Animals seem civilized,
No peace, no silence,
We can't control our urges,
Anything moving is our prey,
Pray all you want
It's a waste of time,
You say we're unique, we must have faith,
And I say we don't need faith to survive,
We're all the same.

Everyone's got a dark side,
Each and everyone,
You're tearing us,
Everyone's got a dark side,
Each and everyone,
You're tearing us apart!

Hit Me (with all you got)

One shot fades away
The memory of the man torn apart,
Crucial time,
Vengeance lurking in the back
Of the mind of the poor family,
With justice in the hands of the judges,
You only know justice won't be served,
The men in blue searching and trashing,
Making this neighborhood feared and hunted,
Rights swiped away from the fingertips
Of the minority, children and women,
Government stealing your pride,
They won't allow you to do what you want to do,
Cash in, cash out,
Two dozen bills to pay,
Only got enough for one,
Some praying for war,
Those who do seek expansion,
While killing the poor and feeding the rich.

Time to take this to the street,
They're coming at us with loaded chambers,
Standing their ground, opening fire,
We'll look into their eyes*
As we're getting up*,
We'll beat them down,
Not beat them to death.

Take your best shot,
Hit me!

With minds brainwashed and abused,
Propaganda hitting the airwaves,
Lies and overload,
Families struggle to live,
While the rich sit out in the sun
Their mansions, fortress and bloody hands,
Taking a shot back,
The cheddar,
Our minds twisted in confusion,
Time to change the ways
When the rich get richer and the poor get poorer,
Another strike, pay your dues,
Centuries and centuries,
Women still looked upon as the weak,
Changes on its way,
No need for guns,
But there is the need for fists, violence and voices.

Hit me
With everything you've got,
We're not stopping until there's justice.

Time to take this to the street,
They're coming at us with loaded chambers,
Standing their ground, opening fire,
We'll look into their eyes*
As we're getting up*,
We'll beat them down,
Not beat them to death.

Take your best shot,
Hit me!

* repeat the full sentence (two lines) 5 times.

Side Project

Right now I am working on a side project titled "Sunrise Above The Mountains." I have prepared a small 17 page (don't ask me why 17 pages, I don't know. Quite random, actually) booklet where I will write lyrics based on similar themes that reflect the idea of "Sunrise Above The Mountain." Think of it as a Group called Sunrise Above The Mountain working on writing songs.....something like that.
Why am I telling you this? Well, it will be the reason why I won't be posting much lyrics in the next while. As for "The" Lyric, it is almost completed but I am not sure if I will blog it on here. I had the idea of blogging it when I started writing it, but now I am not sure.

Sunrise above the Mountains

The bright blue sky,
A moment so fresh you can die,
Thunder and rain,
Some beautiful and some sane,
A look into her eyes,
Pickpocket and stoned,
The air is so crisp and cool,
If I cannot hold her, then I'm a fool.

An angel shining in the sky,
Wings; halo above her eyes,
I cannot keep up, I cannot keep up,
She is something else, she is everything.

Light brown hair and a pretty smile,
I cannot look away, I'm in denial,
Pleasant mood, pleasant voice,
I look at her, no more outside noise,
Will she notice me if I look at her?
Something to show,
Somewhere to be,
But I'll stay here
Watching the sunrise above the mountains.

Insomnia

Staring into your eyes,
I saw something I wanted,
Looking too far behind,
And I'm losing track of time,
A beautiful distraction,
Keeping me close,
I cannot look away,
Locked in the same position
With my eyes looking into yours,
The sun shining on your face,
Light rain falling from the sky,
I cannot look away.

It's been a while
Since I've said anything,
I've spent more time thinking of you
Then I've spent time sleeping.

Stumbling down the stairs,
Tripping over chairs,
When I see you,
Anytime I think of you,
Leaving books and thoughts behind,
I can't get rid of you,
I try to live a simple life,
But you come back in my dreams,
I can't concentrate,
All I see, All I think about,
All I feel, All I speak about,
Is you.

Sometimes I feel that I'm
Living a double life,
Everything starts to collide,
The light shines brighter
Than the bright blue sky,
I picture you at the end of the tunnel,
I can't sleep anymore.

I start to fall behind,
One step forward, three steps back,
This heart's been turned inside-out,
I've got the urge to let it out,
My mind goes blank,
And I'm staring into your eyes,
Motionless, speechless,
Everyone else fades away,
But you stay, you shine through.

I'll take my chances
And find out what life's about,
These pathetic games
I see, I'm feeling right,
I'm going all out,
And it feels right,
All these times I've sat by,
Contemplated and let it go,
I've made mistakes and I regret them,
It took too long,
Sometimes it feels so wrong,
Oh.

It's Like

The days feel longer,
Light flashes from the sky,
But it's feeling dark inside,
Your legs feeling like stone,
Pain to move an inch,
Pain to think out loud,
Sometimes it hurts to be yourself,
Waking up at the wrong time,
Being someone you're not.

It's like tearing your heart out,
It's like being hit by a speeding car,
It's like losing someone when you need them most,
Time is running, time to zone out.

Siting on the bench at the park,
Watching every smile and every sad face,
Your hands covering your face,
Light shining, but it still feels like dark,
Pain to move an inch,
Your wet hands, your dark eyes,
Closed and covered by your shell,
It hurts to be someone else.

It's like tearing your heart out,
It's like being hit by a speeding car,
It's like losing someone when you need them most,
Time is running, time to zone out.

Shernobyl

Random lives,
Holding tight,
Bright blue eyes,
One's flying high,
Changing names,
Line in the sand,
Running away
Feels like the best choice.

Nothing felt so hopeless,
Hanging on to broken dreams,
This dirty road
Of hate and misery.

Everything feels disorientated,
Nothing to watch,
Nothing for anyone,
A one trick pony,
A cold winter breeze,
The lights dim, the people cry,
One forgotten town.

Everything is gone,
Everyone is swept away,
A river flows,
But there's no emotions.

A baby whines,
A mother walks away,
Another town so dark and ominous,
Hope shapes itself
In mysterious ways,
One waits, one prays,
One dies,
A figure, a father,
Just lies and corruption,
This river,
This red river.

When we hope for the best,
We get the worst,
When we expect glory,
We get defeat,
When we think too much,
It never happens,
When we look up to someone,
We are disappointed,
Mayhem and confusion
Rule this town,
This town called Shernobyl.

Situations

Hard to speak
When you got me all tangled up,
Wrapped around your little finger,
Another mess, another light situation,
Feeling the same,
Pinching a nerve,
Standing still, losing myself.

Situations!
Doing nothing but killing time,
Writing down what's on my mind,
Look at these lines I got to fill,
Blank paper!

You keep me caged, still,
You keep me wanting more,
Nothing feels the same now that you're gone,
Round and round we go,
Spinning wheels,
Everything moving so slow.

Situations!
Life's a mess one moment,
Life's a paradise the next,
Filling these lines with what's on my mind,
Full page!

Paper Doll (Title to change)

Deep and deserted,
On his knees
Soaking in the rain,
Watching her fade away
Dying in his arms,
No time to breathe again,
No time to sit and stare,
Facing and twisting,
Can't take it anymore,
The sunshine is a dark place,
The warm air is a freezing wind,
Every smile is a disguise
For agony.

Images fade and reappear,
Voices in the air
Belonging to dead souls,
Objects shifting and shaping,
Welcome to your dead space.

He cradles her,
Hope for her to spit out water
And breathe again,
The blood rushing in,
And the bones begins to shake,
His vocal cords diminish quickly,
He can't let go,
He won't let go,
The sunshine is a dark place,
The warm air is a freezing wind,
Every smile is a disguise
For agony.

Images fade and reappear,
Voices in the air
Belonging to dead souls,
Objects shifting and shaping,
Welcome to your dead space.

Breakdown

Hit me!
(drum solo)

Tied up inside,
Everything curling up,
Intertwining to a knot,
Living through temptations,
Expecting broken concentration,
Living through fear,
Holding everything back,
Waiting for sparks to fly,
Holding the anger within,
Sudden steps, sudden noises,
Black spots, shooting stars,
Vision shifting, images inside out,
Another headache dropping you to the ground,
And another hit.

(drum solo)

Everyone's got a soft spot,
Everyone's holding something back,
Waiting for someone to breakdown,
Shifting, hating, sinking,
We're all tied up inside,
A knot tightening our vocal cords,
We've tried to hold emotions,
Nothing ever stays,
Not too long until everything explodes,
Not too long until everyone falls apart,
Not too long until everyone fails,
Not too long until everyone regrets,
Not too long until everything disintegrates,
Not too long until everyone dies.

Hit 'em!

Delay

Sorry for the long delay. A new lyric will be posted up soon. When? Not sure. I am currently working on one that is taking me a shit load of time for some odd reason (well, I think I know why). Not sure when that will be done. In the meantime I'll post other lyrics that I write in the upcoming days/weeks.
I will let you know when this "lyric" that is taking me a long time to finish will be posted.

An Inch Away

The sound of the rain
Hitting the ground,
The streets vacant
Dirty and bloody,
Black top, broken bones,
Left turn
To the middle of nowhere,
And everything feels wrong,
Being simple never felt right.

Sometimes I feel like driving
To no particular place,
To ease my mind,
And heal this pain inside,
Sometimes I feel like doing nothing
I can avoid liars, problems and misery,
But sometimes they find you.

Only way,
Look ahead, climb the mountain,
A broken heart, a damaged path,
Nothing should prevent dreams,
Rise to the top,
The sound of the heart beating,
Endless waves, feet in the ocean,
Speechless when you find it.

Boston Nightfall

The things we lose in the fire,
So much hate, still desire,
The sun rising and falling,
The ship sailing and stalling,
Moments seem too fragile,
But for you I'll go that extra mile,
The plants begin to decay,
And I haven't matured since May,
I got you these flowers my love,
Flying to your heart like a dove.

The storm is calm,
The light is gone,
The wind blows,
Decisions that no one knows,
The things we do to one another,
Your humor is dull, don't even bother,
Drip, drip the tears from your eyes,
Slip, slip this heart of mine,
A love that runs in circles.

California Weekends

Failure to let things be,
Nothing seems fair enough,
A slow slip of serenity,
Her broken heart, his broken mind,
With nothing left inside,
Everything separates,
Everything disintegrates.

Way over one's head,
He's falling to her knees,
Holding his hand,
The lies hide themselves,
And their hearts are broken within.

The bells ringing,
Fear fiddling, time ticking,
Now she's got negative vibes,
She shakes in her dress,
He stares at the sky,
Dark clouds and thunderstorms,
The night is long.

The Beast Within

Dark clouds, the rain never ends,
Flashing lights and emptiness,
This vision is black and white,
The ground shakes,
The sun shines,
But fades away quicker then you can blink.

Ashes and fire,
Your mind is completely shadowed,
The darkness of pride,
And now the beauty fades.

A mirror, now a picture of yourself,
Mind tainted,
The look of defeat,
Exposed and explode,
The evil outside and within,
A visionary, a lost soul,
Fading, face this shame,
Life overshadowed by the views of others.

Ashes and fire,
Your mind is completely shadowed,
The darkness of pride,
And now the beauty fades.

A relentless tiger,
Bestowed upon you,
Your hunger for freedom,
This disease waiting to be torn apart,
This light shinning through,
Not shadowed for much longer,
Release, regain, resist,
Everything's a mess,
Visions don't have to be positive
To keep you moving forward,
This hunger, your strive,
Unleash the beast within.

Phoenix

Nothing lasts forever,
Your red roses and love letters,
Kisses to make things better,
Flowers to tell her you care,
Obscene obsessive behavior,
Keep your gestures, everything's fine,
Tranquility and ample desires,
How can love rule
When you're keeping everything inside,
Nothing lasts forever.

Stars and the red sky,
A glass of wine to heal the pain
Inside us, but we hide it,
Roses and chocolates.

Spark flies and the river rises,
Mild manner, but you convince her you'll be better,
Lies and fake emotions,
The truth is never spoken,
Trapped voices and dark clouds,
She speaks but fears the aftermath,
More jewels to keep her happy,
Touch her to keep her flattered,
Everything seems fine,
Nothing is fine,
Everything locked inside,
Nothing lasts forever.

Stars and the red sky,
A glass of wine to heal the pain
Inside us, but we hide it,
Roses and chocolates.

Protest, Violence & Fists

Militant, militant,
Dropping shots right to left,
They desire power
And turn on one another,
Policia, policia,
Taking advantage of the poor,
Filthy pigs smothered in greed,
41 shots, when will you stop?

Professors, professors,
Why can't you listen to my views?
Your propaganda cannot absorb me,
My thoughts are just as important as yours,
Politicians, politicians,
I don't believe what you say,
Your views seem to change by the day,
You should be treated like everyone else.

Religions, religions,
Keep feeding us lies,
The Pope is wealthy, his people are starving,
Keep your fictional beliefs to yourself,
Judges, judges,
You turn the other way while the rapist rapes again,
Look at yourselves in the mirror,
Puppets on strings serving to free criminals.

Cuba (Viva la revolucion)

No matter how many casualties,
This guerrilla keeps fighting,
Time to protect this land,
And secure the rights of the people,
Tired of living a desperate life;
Hanging on too every prayer n' false hope,
Enough of these abuses n' brutalities,
This sense of discrimination,
No more injustices, no more insecurity,
Time to shock ya
And burn your rich fortress'.

Through the jungle, time to raid,
Shatter the hopes of the rich
And destroy their morality,
It only takes one.

No matter the amount of opposition,
This guerrilla will never surrender,
Place the men, fight for your land,
Freedom and rights should have never been stripped,
Tired of hanging on a rope
And being told what to do,
Enough of the lies
And abuse of authority,
Police brutality n' holes filled with bodies,
Time to show ya
The actions of an angry peasant.

Cyprus (Dying voices)

The bodies filled with sand,
Six feet underground,
Knives in the backs
Of those who don't comply,
Round after round,
Bodies fill the street,
The burning fields,
Their land taken away.

No one stays calm,
But no one fights back,
No voice, no change,
Silence fills the air.

The boots shake,
As the ground quakes,
Jail cells filled with activists and innocents,
Another day, another reel,
News telling you
About the glory of the country,
Strip, storm n' search,
Raid, rage n' retribution,
Raise, pessimism n' propaganda,
Imaginary voices,
Sudden mind rape.

No one stays calm,
But no one fights back,
No voice, no change,
Silence fills the air.

Chained to a system
That's stripping you apart.

South America (this is our land)

This constitution,
The forces from the left,
The forces from the right,
Some burning paradise,
Who's burning crosses?
Some searching for justice,
An eye for an eye,
This is retribution.

Democracy failing,
Socialism fading,
Forces obeying the norms,
Other forces fighting for change,
A witness shot and dumped in the sea,
A criminal avoiding jail time,
Teacher's using propaganda,
The Pope band condoms, he wants more aids,
Homes become prisons,
Life loses hope,
Time for a revolution,
This is retribution.

Countries in poverty,
Others living with gold,
Instead of improving the world,
Some choose to go to war,
Fight, fire, let's burn,
Take back the land
That was taken from you,
This is retribution.

A Million Ways and Endless Desires

Just like sheep n' dogs
We do what we're told,
No mind of our own,
Vision from television,
Our thoughts n' beliefs
Hijacked by the norms
They've been shoving down our throats.

Time to give in to their products,
Their drugs, their addictions,
What they want ya to think,
Burning images of your past
Watching your memories fade,
Thinking you got control of your life,
Thinking of a million ways to keep loved ones happy,
But in the end,
You bow down to the same flag,
The red, white n' blue,
That put fear in the innocents,
And destroyed the lives of millions,
We continue to believe in
A cycle of hatred n' obedience;
A cycle of conformity n' assimilation.

We are dogs chasing our own tail,
We are cattle following the pact to destruction.

Low wages for the hard workers
Improving the land,
Higher wages for those destroying
The lives of the lower class,
The economy is declining,
But not enough for athletes to demand less,
Greed, greed, those filthy motherfuckers,
Everyone says they care,
But only when their profits hit a wall,
No one gives a fuck
When they're stealing from the poor,
When others are starving and killing themselves,
We just want more n' more,
We want it all,
Only satisfied when our pockets are full,
Some call themselves religious,
But only pray to their fictional God when they want something,
When they desire someone,
The devil in disguise,
Nothing is pure, nothing is gold,
The land is mine as much as its yours.

We want change,
But we fail to do it ourselves,
We want too much
Because we are never satisfied.

United States (A failed democracy): Part Three

Time to pack n' go to war,
That's all this country is made for,
Carry arms n' pass the shells,
That's all we're good for,
Our minds shaped to think a certain way,
Their culture is your culture,
Their beliefs are your beliefs,
Because they got Jesus by their side
While the others bow down to Satan.

There's no freedom in this country,
Everyone n' everything controlled,
This is a failed democracy, never stable,
No freedom in this country!!

Wealth n' power,
Engraved in their hearts,
Mass murderers n' KKK supporters,
A massive battle for civil rights,
Imprisoning innocent men n' women
To cover their lies,
Enter war, enter war,
Show patriotism
And die for the wrong reasons.

Untitled

The sound of a gun
Going off at every heart beat,
Tragedy knocking at every door,
With the life in his hands.

Burning bridges
They say to prevent invasions,
But we know the truth,
They want to control
And keep us imprisoned.

Targets acquainted,
False education and hope,
Lines dividing our lives,
Apartheid and the power to the norm,
People expendable,
Civilians sacrificed.

Can't keep awake,
The vision begins to fail,
A hundred thousand images
Ever hour before your eyes,
Cord around the throat,
Strangled and left behind,
No use for you when you're job is done,
Another number, another pawn.

A pawn, you're dead!
A pawn, you're dead!
Gun shots, you're dead!
Iron fist,
You're bleeding, you're dead!

Black Hole

Black hole,
Taking this life away,
Nowhere to run,
Always by our side,
Black hole,
Destroying everyone,
Enemy, a superficial being,
Capital, termination.

Every heart, every star,
Underneath, oversea,
Every breath inside
Swept away, swept away!

Dark figure,
Bringing the worst in us,
Leaving us questioning ourselves,
Nowhere to hide,
Dark figure,
Within us all,
Fear inside, fear to survive,
Greed must be terminated.

Every heart, every star,
Underneath, oversea,
Every breath inside
Swept away, swept away!

Stavanger

Staring at the sky,
Blazing through the images in my mind,
Tossing all your memories in the fire,
Watching your darkness fade away,
Looking for light to guide my way,
Everything coming to an end today,
None of your requests or your promises,
Looking at the road ahead,
Never turning back.

You're not what I need right now,
You're everything I try to avoid,
You're nothing to me,
You're broken and insecure.

All your lies,
Every way to isolate yourself from me,
Power in need,
No excuses, no time for anyone,
The light is brighter,
And I'm on my way out for good,
The sky is clearer,
But the mind is full of hate,
Looking at the road ahead,
Now I am gone.

You're not what I need right now,
You're everything I try to avoid,
You're nothing to me,
You're broken and insecure.

Liberia

Shaping the world
Into madness, into self-destruction,
Waiting for the light
To shine right through,
Soldiers and civilians
At the frontline,
Hole on to something,
Make peace with yourself,
This place is going to blow.

Smile, laugh,
And watch it all fall apart,
Hide, you pray,
And you'll watch it all fall apart.

The darkness in today's life,
Warped up in your mind,
Explosions in the sky,
Everything melting till everything's flat,
Rebellion and glory,
To fit in each others harmony,
Disintegration and power,
Leaving everyone behind.

Smile, laugh,
And watch it all fall apart,
Hide, you pray,
And you'll watch it all fall apart.

A struggle in the homeland,
A needle in the vein,
Poverty populating,
The clock ticking down,
Monuments exploding,
And their hearts imploding,
Hijack the system,
Others planting bombs.

Smile, laugh,
And watch it all fall apart,
Hide, you pray,
And you'll watch it all fall apart.

Mogadishu

Nothing feels the same anymore,
Everything ahead
Completely blurred,
These eyes are failing,
This soul is burning,
And my mind is slowly shutting down!

The blood I have seen,
The limbs covering my feet,
The blood in my dreams,
The limbs of a child.

Waiting for hope to arrive,
The buildings being torn down,
The homeless and the hungry,
Lives in shambles,
Every turn is suicide,
Well, why do we hold back?
No one needs to die,
Fading into black.

The blood I have seen,
The limbs covering my feet,
The blood in my dreams,
The limbs
The limbs of us all!!!

Spain (the lies we learn from the U.S.A)

Rollin' on chance,
Throwin' his life away,
Casualties, more implosions,
Rid this disease we call greed,
With the lives on the line,
We seem to despise
Any light shining upon our eyes.

More money, more money,
More greed, more disease!
More war crimes, more propaganda,
More lies to spread this disease!

Spitting bullets at children n' women,
The desire burning for glory,
Gain land, lose lives,
Selling arms to a child,
Who doesn't understand,
Burn crops, destroy one's faith,
Increase spending n' intervention,
They want to bury the poor [x4]

More money, more money,
More greed, more disease!
More war crimes, more propaganda,
More lies to spread this disease!

More prisons, more arrests
To keep the weak at bay,
Education seems like a sin,
No knowledge, just filling our minds
With this disease,
The hacksaw grinding n' grinding,
The sound of rounds over rounds over rounds,
The children n' women yelling,
Bones crushed, pick the change off the floor,
The hacksaw grinding n' grinding [x3]

Madagascar

She slips away
With her torn skin,
Damaged goods,
Used and abused,
Long forgotten,
Hurting for a long time.

A family dying,
Their hearts cannot keep up,
A useless faith
Burned and scarred,
Doing anything to survive,
Selling themselves,
Lost for a long time,
Lost for a long time.

Her father breaking his back
For a couple of pennies,
Her mother following brutal orders,
Their souls are torn,
She slips away
To her secret place,
She comforts abuse
And intercourse,
She's been lost for a long time.

No one seems to care,
But the family doesn't know better,
Needles and drugs
Keep them safe,
Broken nails and internal bleeding,
Ruthless beatings
And improper medication,
You live and you die young,
Seems like yesterday, was life good?
She's been lost for a long time.

Beatings, batons,
Cursing, casualties,
Dying, disease,
Prostitute, pessimistic,
Murder and massacres.

Alberta

Time will heal all wounds,
Time will erase these scars.

Stuck, going through the same moments,
Over and over again,
Heart left in her hands,
Decisions decisions breaking me down,
No words to explain,
This moment playing again and again.

Time will heal all wounds,
Time will erase these scars.

Bad intentions,
Bad impressions,
On my mind, on my mind,
I hate these games,
I hate your sins,
Denial, denial,
Over and over,
Denial, denial,
Living this moment over and over.

Time will heal all wounds,
Why can't it happen now?

Sevilla: (A lovely city to be in a coma)

*Not meant to make 100% sense. My way of having fun :D*

When every moment seems so bitter,
A boulder rested on our shoulders,
A jealous rage, multiple failures,
Consequently lost in disguise,
Made up words and pointless conversations,
Standing in the corner,
Watching everything go by
So fast, losing every ounce of happiness,
Gaining every inch of pain,
Piece or peace?
Every verbal fight to the bitter end,
Fantasies and desires,
We're locked inside our bodies,
Coma.

Regenerating the strength we had,
Another loss of communications,
Breaking pattern, breaking the line,
Miserable speeches,
But we are speechless anyways,
Quarantine, press record,
Losing hope was not the plan,
Useless letters and endless lectures,
Right or wrong?
Lying here waiting for something,
Something to reappear,
Endless conversations, but lack of love,
Locked, locked inside this body,
Lying, lying to see the stars;
To watch the light flicker,
Spinning out of control,
This coma.

Out, out of control,
Why, why is it hard to breathe?
Pointed pistol pending,
Critical circuit cut,
People peeping pursuit,
Coma.

The World: Part One

This clenched fist in the air,
Angered and tired
Of your constant vision for war,
These annihilation and symbols
That God is on our side,
The millions, the sun and water,
Burning people alive,
Hanging victims for their different beliefs,
A hundred thousand dead bodies
Laying in the streets,
The bombs, the bullets covering our sun.

Glory for war and casualties,
Glory for disasters and genocide,
Glory for hatred and murder,
This world falling to her knees,
Waiting to be guillotined.

Assimilation and heresy,
A public enemy as the scapegoat,
The bridge for civilization
Breaking down; now killers,
A burning desire to inflict war,
Women and children dying,
But the governments hearts
Are in profits and globalization.

Glory for war and casualties,
Glory for disasters and genocide,
Glory for hatred and murder,
This world falling to her knees,
Waiting to be guillotined.

Soldiers fighting for a cause
That doesn't exist,
The cross being used
To approve this war,
In the name of God
They are killing, beating and raping.
A hundred thousand souls
In the hands of a man
Whose running this country into the fire.

Europe

Ticking, ticking down,
Another gin, make it three,
When everything feels numb,
No one knows tomorrow,
Everyone is down,
But we all pretend to be confident,
We know all,
Falling down with nothing left to hide,
We are, falling down,
Every hole, every inch.

Where do you want to go?
Locked in a cage,
Hands in your pockets,
What do you want to see?
Sitting still
Watching life pass you by.

Ticking, ticking down,
We are laughing, laughing hard,
You want times like these to last forever,
Wasting time,
Making bad decisions,
Leaving late,
Arriving too early to meet you,
Tickling, poking fun
At the times we made a fool of ourselves,
Summer is a laugh away.

Where do you want to go?
But your locked in a cage,
Hands in your pockets,
What do you want to see?
Sitting still
Watching life pass you by.

Virginia

She desperately tries to hide
The black scars on her face,
Sunglasses in the middle of winter,
Her eyes were bright and beautiful,
Now wrecked and full of sorrow,
Her whole life,
Emotions locked and forgotten,
Absorbing the pain,
Until the day she died.

The lies she made
To protect this beast,
Her life was maimed
Because she didn't believe.

Struck and used
To satisfy his pleasures,
Her life covered
With sin and darkness,
Drugs filling her soul
To seclude her pain,
Not refraining; she feels ashamed,
Thinking of dreams and fears
Until the day she died.

More drugs in her system
To fill the void in her heart,
Her life was maimed
Because she didn't believe.

Asbury Park, New Jersey

Growing up
To your rhythm and rock,
Little town
Not too far from the city,
Watching you live
Is fresh on my mind,
This heavy wind,
Not strong enough
To keep my eyes off the girls,
The road is long,
But it seems achievable
When i'm listening to you.

Oh, when everything may be in shambles,
It's good to hear your voice,
Oh, when I'm close to getting something,
It helps to hear your voice.

Born to discover myself,
Born to see the world,
From the small town, Ashbury Park,
To the cities in all continents,
Life is grand, life is short,
But I'm still listening
To your rhythm and rock,
When everything is dark,
I'll find the light
When I listen to you.

Sydney

The sound of your cries,
The whisper of defeat,
We're lying in the sand,
Looking at the sun,
Moments so blue,
But looking like everything's fine,
Everyone hides something inside,
Everything is fine,
Everything is fine.

Your scent filling this room,
The sparkle in your eyes,
Lying all alone,
Thinking of last night,
Everything I didn't do,
Everything is fine,
The sun in my eyes,
The beauty in yours.

A heart-shaped box,
A heart-shaped box,
A heart-shaped box,
This lust, this attraction,
But there's fear and assumptions,
The coldness outside,
In the month of July,
Nothing is fine,
This heart-shaped box,
This heart-shaped box,
This heart-shaped box,
Filled with emotion,
That sparkle in your eyes,
Just to see you smile,
Just to hear you speak,
Just to be with you,
This heart-shaped box,
This heart-shaped box,
This heart-shaped box.

Germany: Part Two

Raid and temptation,
Leaving until the land is conquered,
Death and destruction,
Your interests are the main concern,
While everything ends in tragedy,
While everyone suffers,
You talk about God on your side,
A fiction, a deceit,
Fuck you and your nuclear bombs.

Living in disease,
Contrary to what others think,
Pushed against the wall,
A dozen rounds,
An empty soul,
A burning desire to kill,
A burning desire to seize,
Another empty feeling;
Can we survive?

Los Angeles

Everything is sore tonight,
The candle burning,
But it's going to die,
The city streets filled with disappointment,
The darkest days are yet to come,
She sells herself for paper and cocaine,
Drugged in a world of hatred,
No, she doesn't think anyone understands,
The streets filled with dark and deceit.

The morning is just as dark as the night,
Waking to the sound of the child cryin',
Another dose of heroin
To soothe her pain,
Living in dreams,
But living in fear,
Used and abused,
To take care of her child,
A moment to die for,
Light shining,
But not shining long.

The darkest days,
She's lying in the dark alley,
Unconscious,
Her life is a mess,
And deep down she knows,
A cryin' victim locked in a cage,
The streets are never bright,
Never bright enough to live.

United States: Part Two

The privacy of the lives in this country,
Exposed through the lies,
Living in deceit, never exploring possibilities,
Bullet holes tell the story
Of this broken country,
The change and hope
Breathing down our throats,
A severed head,
And a hole full of bodies.

Relations?
You don't give a fuck about your own people,
Wars to seclude the truth,
And sacrifice those who believe your lies,
A million casualties,
A dime a dozen,
Hegemony, full control,
Shaping the world around
Your beliefs, your traditions,
Your policies, your government.

The gun fires a bullet between the eyes,
Is that your democracy?
Invading other countries for profit,
Is that your justice?
Eliminating communism and socialism
To capitalize the world,
And destroy the lower class,
Is that your freedom?
Is that your freedom?!
Is that your freedom?!
Is that your freedom?!

Pull the plug!
Stop living under someone's ideas,
The result of a clear cut below your chin,
Is this justice?

Africa

I lost my appetite,
I lost my will to fight,
I am wondering in the wilderness,
With nothing but the clothes on my back,
I got a few change in my pocket,
I don't want to remember who I was,
I am leaving this all behind,
Good, bad, it feels the same,
I lost myself when I woke up,
I am here, I am here.

Nobody else to show me the way,
The way to the promised land,
The way where hope is found,
The calm before the storm,
All broken and cuffed,
I can't find myself,
I don't want to remember
All the mistakes I've made,
I just want to live free
With no regrets,
The sky is dark,
It seems like it's going to rain,
I am wondering in wilderness.

Some moments seem divine,
I don't feel ashamed,
Just wished I took those chances,
Why did I let it slip?
It was in my hand,
It was in my hand,
It was in my hand,
The jungle seems death at night,
A little miracle, light sparkling in the sky,
Beauty in the day,
My mind is spinning out of control,
It was in my hand.

I keep looking at my watch,
I keep still with my head down,
The splash of water,
The feel of freedom wearing thin,
A golden field, a sudden spark,
All alone,
Now how do I set this fire on?
I had it, I lost it,
I lost my appetite,
I lost my will to fight,
I felt it slip at the blink of an eye,
The way you want things to go,
Life itself, so small and delicate,
I'll return.

Venice

The night is cold,
But we're still standing,
The pleasant laughter
Still echoing into the sky,
The soft breeze and your gentle lips,
I want to hold your hand,
But maybe it's too much.

Never dream if you're afraid,
The feelings lost in the wind,
Too much time to decide to risk it,
One waits for the other,
And nothing happens.

A walk to remember,
But a hole left empty,
The sun is leaving,
And maybe I should too,
I can't grip on to what I want,
Slippin', slippin' from my palm,
Thinkin', thinkin' about her,
A butterfly on her shoulder,
Why am I speechless around her?

Never dream if you're afraid,
We regret the lost opportunities,
The fire in this heart of mine,
I cannot control this desire,
What happens, happens.

United States: Part One

Nothing to gain,
Everything to lose,
Standing in the middle of nowhere,
Banged up knees and a bottle of whiskey,
To tired to find my way home,
The black streets, no lights
Making it hard to see,
The blurry side of my right eye,
To dumb to realize,
I ain't in good shape to stand still.

Too much, too much,
Nothing is ever good enough,
Too far, too far,
Small steps caused the fall,
Too long, too long,
I can hardly breathe right.

The lightning strikes the car beside me,
A sudden spark leads to explosion,
I feel this night will never end,
Another bottle to heal the wounds,
Stripped of pride, my mind is floating,
This isolation, an empty feeling,
Stuck in the middle of God knows where,
Too tired to find my way out.

Too much, too much,
Nothing is ever good enough,
Too far, too far,
Everything seems hard to reach,
Too long, too long,
The world is broken, the world is hopeless.

A darkness fills the light we seek.

Germany

The lies, these lies,
Filling the minds, these minds,
Of a destructive nation,
Ready to implode,
This gun in his hand,
Ready to go off, ready to explode,
Nobody knows,
Every moment lost in the gun fire,
This genocide.

Sending us in to die,
Making us believe every word
With your threats,
The lies, these lies,
A bullet in the our head,
Is it enough? It is enough!
The line, every wire,
All our secrets exposed.

The eyes, your eyes,
Looking into mine,
The way you feel to your knees,
The hollow feeling inside,
When will we stop bleeding?
No one knows,
Will it ever end?

Sometimes you feel
Thta there is nothing left inside,
Sometimes you fell
Your all alone,
Stuck in the darkness of this hole.

Armenia

Buckets of tears filling the streets,
The loneliness of an individual
Driving over the cliff,
Society is dying;
Living on the last breath,
The guilt eating us apart,
The desire to end this fear,
And our tears fill the streets.

The desire in our blood keeping us numb,
A civil war we don't know anything about,
This bad blood keeping us apart,
Of which and why we don't know anything about,
We're living on our last breath,
Hidden deep inside,
Our desires find no hope,
And our tears fill the streets.

Loss of love, loss of hope,
Loss of everything,
Our hearts filled with jealousy,
And we cannot look beyond,
This broken heart,
Killing us inside,
And we wonder why we stay the same,
No desire to change,
And our tears fill the streets.

Argentina

The ground is shaking,
Everyone's broken; nowhere to go,
The telephone line wired,
Nowhere to run; no privacy,
Streets filled with corpses,
Minds filled with hatres,
Passion and paranoia.

Wounds filled with salt,
Words on the wall
Keeping the faith,
That seems to be disappearing,
The cuts, scars and bullet wounds
On every hard working peasant,
Things will change,
The front office will be gone.

Everything crumbling,
The Majorca punishing
The weak; the opposition,
A line in the sand,
Crossed to many times,
Time to take action,
Destroy injustic and inequality.

Mexico

Ripping up the system
That's cleansing us from our beliefs,
Open to a war
To destroy these injustices,
They burn down cities
To prevent the uprising,
The barrels full,
And we are ready for change.

Looking at our backdoor
For incoming bombs,
Waiting for the president
To make his last speech,
The bodies laying on the floor
Enough for us to rise,
One magazine after another,
The only way you will realize
The suffering and the poor you have created.

The sounds of a bomb
Dropped a hundred times,
In the middle of societies civilized life,
A hundred grand
In each pocket of a rich man,
And a loaded pistol
In the hands of a peasant.

Bosnia

Peace at sunrise,
War at sunset,
Gather your arms
Because nothing feels right, ever,
The land seized for profit,
Slaughtering cattle's,
Slaughtering human beings,
Peace at sunrise,
War at sunset.

The disguise of brutality,
The sound of harmony dying,
No more smiles; no more equality,
We'll never be; who are we?
Take up arms, take on life,
Anything to survive, anything, anything,
Peace at sunrise,
War at sunset.

Light shining bright,
Suddenly turns to darkness,
The hole is closing,
The eyelids struggling to stay open,
Your mouth filled with blood,
No one alive to save you,
No sun shining today,
War at sunrise,
Death at sunset.

Washington, DC

The numerous witness
Of a hundred lies,
The profit and power
Their only goal,
The people deceived,
The people struggling for glory,
Homes bursting into flames,
Thorns through the hearts of a nation
While the President declares war.

Praise the lord
And pass the ammunition,
The country losing the faith of its people,
Look the leader in the eye
His clenched iron fist,
A hole in the sky,
Take a closer look at his lies, I insist,
Destruction beginning in your second home
In Washington, DC.

Ireland

I'm embraced by your smile
At ten in the morning,
The way you look at me,
With those beautiful round brown eyes,
Stay with me tonight,
Let's watch the stars glow
And the sunsets (while the sunsets).

Fuck misery,
Let us be where we belong,
Together in each others arms,
And we'll run free
To where there's no limits,
Together.

The way you smile,
The faster my heart beats,
Well I just know
That everything's fine,
When I'm with you,
The spark in this heart
When I see you.

Fuck thinking too much,
I'm taking my chances,
I don't feel the same
When your not there (this empty feeling),
Holding hands is good enough,
To feel your warmth,
To kiss your pain goodbye.

And this is where I want to be,
With you Ireland.
