Three-Sixty (the name that slips away) [9:09]

The name that slips away,
Coming and going,
Never the same again,
Keep talking,
I've done what I can.

Looking for answers,
Falling to my knees,
I never believed
It would end like this,
Tearing away.

Random conversations,
Giving in to the heat,
Sinking defeat,
But I'm up in the air,
No more frustration (the lies).

Keeping emotions tight,
Unleashed on the wrong ones,
Forced to let go of yourself,
Without even knowing,
Think and believe.

Something feels wrong,
And no one knows what,
Burning sensation
Of the mind breaking down,
Sunsets, and it feels terminated.

Bitter taste
From the wars outside,
Feeling new again,
But feeling restricted,
Everything changes.

Everything changes.

The name that slips away,
The voices in my head,
Louder and louder,
Colder, not warmer,
Contemplating too much.

What to do?
Where do we go?
Who are we?
When will it begin?
Nobody answers.

Too much,
Too little,
Make up your mind,
Know what you want,
Stop wasting time.

Tearing away.

Brighter Than The Sun [4:47]

Understand what you're doing,
Don't say you didn't know,
Put away all your anger,
Take out those pretty roses
That reflect your image,
Look up to the sky,
Tell me you see yourself
Among the beautiful stars.

Among.

Wake up early, not late,
Don't need any make-up,
Your fine the way you are,
Thinking too much about the life
That struck you when you were down,
You will find the one,
Who will hold your hand,
Tell you everything will be alright,
Just look into the stars
Because I can see you there.

Because.

Don't waste your time
Thinking about what you could of,
What you should of, when or why,
Don't tell yourself you can't,
Or that your not good enough,
Or that you will never find the right man,
Look into these eyes,
You know I am right,
Whenever you feel low,
Look into the stars
Because I do when I want to see you.

To see you.

December [4:55]

Staying close,
Why don't you open the door?
Seem so far away,
Why don't you come a little closer?
Pushed aside,
I feel the same way about you,
Nowhere to hide,
I need time to think, so go away.

Time passes by,
Some change,
Others remain the same,
Just let it go; let me let you go.

Flowers bloom,
You actions and decisions are still poor,
Summer's over,
The light when we're together, drifting apart,
Patience is a virtue,
Sometimes we never learn,
Doors are opened,
But will we find each other?

Time passes by,
Just let me know,
I want to fall
Into the unknown,
And see what awaits me. (x2)

Covered in white,
We are getting old and dumb,
Just fall apart,
I think I've done just that,
Seeing the stars,
Layed back, but I'd rather watch the rain fall,
Doors are closed,
I guess we saw this coming.

Time passes by,
Just let me know,
I want to fall
Into the unknown,
And see what awaits me. (x2)

And see what awaits me.

Americana [3:19]

Americana,
Please let the world know
How you treat your brothers,
How you treat the women
That have been so good to you,
Look at the way you brought
Centuries and centuries of mass destruction,
Complications, less liberation
Of the free mind,
Is your nation really free?
Are we here fighting the same battle?
For the same cause?
For hope or misery?

Look at those children burning themselves,
Shooting themselves with the weapons you supply,
Venemous threats endangering the lives of the sick,
Americana,
Where were you when the poor needed your help,
Or the time free men were marked as slaves,
Branded numbers on their chest,
Was this the civilization you envisioned?
Blood pouring from the scars
That determine their status,
Americana,
Wake up, this is not your life to control.

Working for freedom, then you're working for the lies,
Choked up and hung upside down,
Americana,
Did you see this as a mark of progression?
Their anger in their eyes,
Now writing you letters in their blood,
A dynasty at assimilating
The weak, the young, the feared and the blind,
Americana,
Spit truth is fiction in your vocabulary,
Taking control, trying to master us all,
We know your motication,
We know your cause,
But where is this justice you promised for us all?

Captured (Losing my ways) [6:54]

Trying to redeem myself from this disaster,
Putting myself in a situation I can't handle,
Fighting through the mess I keep putting myself in,
Constantly contemplating my next move,
Trying to put my past behind me,
All mistakes seem to rise up when you least expect them,
Win or lose I'm about to fight it!

Whatever you are,
Whoever you are trying to be,
It won't work much longer,
Sink in, sink in.

Putting away everything that reminds me of you
For a while; I'm looking to unleash these chains that bind me,
I can hear your voice sinking deep into my mind,
Time to rewind and understand what's been done,
Writting too many letters, but end up throwing them away,
Face the music, face the heart, but it's to simple to leave it that way,
Win or lose I'm about to fight it!

Whatever you are,
Whoever you are trying to be,
It won't work much longer,
Sink in, sink in,
But you are already taking over. *slowly*

Trying to fall asleep without thinking for too long,
Staying awake, I can't escape the lies that I'm tangled in,
Wondering where I would have been had I turned the other way,
Trying to forget you tonight, trying to fall asleep alright,
Nothing sinks in, I'm making a mess again,
I'm making mistakes that I should have already learned from,
But tonight marks a new chapter; win or lose.

Whatever you are,
Whoever you are trying to be,
It won't work much longer,
Sink in, sink in,
But I'm going back to the place
I should have avoided for a while. *slowly*

Going back, going back.

Suffer Some [2:07]

So cold,
I'm so cold,
Just as long as you're warm,
So cold,
I'll be so cold,
Just as long as I can hear your voice.

Do whatever pleases you,
I'll suffer some,
Sacrifice, too,
So you can keep that smile glowing.
Hold your head up high,
I just love to watch you fly,
Your body moves beautifully,
My eyes mesmerized.

So cold,
I'm so cold,
Just as long as you're warm,
So cold,
I'll be so cold,
Just as long as I can hear your voice.

Always [2:56]

This is NOT one of the lyrics I have been working on the last month or so. In fact, I wrote this one today so that I can buy more time with the other lyrics :P  From now on I will mark the time (estimated) for the song next to its name. Ex: this lyric is 2 minutes and 56 seconds long.

Walk away, walk away,
Nothing to lose.

Pull yourself together,
Pull yourself together,
Nothing to lose.

The glass is half full (tell yourself),
The glass is half full (tell yourself),
Nothing to lose.

Stop complaining about what you've done,
Start commiserating and using your brain,
Stop thinking about the past,
Start looking out for others,
You've changed.

Why have you put yourself through this pressure?
Why are you committed to failure?
Why can't you see I care?
Always smiling and looking at me,
Why do you feel this way with me?
Everything.

Nothing to lose,
Nothing to lose.

I don't care about winning,
I only want what's best for you,
I am far from giving up,
I will always be there for you,
I can't turn away, it's true,
I don't know, faith or fate,
Always.

Always,
Always,
Always,
Always.
