Update on the Side Project: Sunshine Above the Mountains

"Sunshine Above the Mountains" is shaping up to be something sweet - more or less what I envision it to be. So far I have written five lyrics, which do NOT include "Hit Me," "Dark Horizon," "Plastic at 1:12" or "Light it Up." Each lyric I have written for "Sunshine Above the Mountains" reflects sunshine (my interpretation of it - what it brings. Not anything cheesy, if that is what you are wondering), romantic and a little darkness as usual. I have written one several minutes ago, but I have not come up with a title yet.
I try to make my lyrics open for interpretation, but that does not mean I do not have a theme or point I plan to achieve. I do, but I also enjoy playing around with lines, words and meanings within the lyrics that enable the reader to dissect several ideas, meanings and, hopefully, something they can relate to in life.
My last side project was writing lyrics reflecting on certain countries, cities and so on. Making some connection - a heavy connection, actually. Although I haven't written one for a while, I have not counted out writing several in the future. These lyrics are seen at the beginning of this blog.
As you can tell, I have not blogged as much as I wished in the past two months. However, I will make a greater effort this summer. I seem to be much more focused on writing better lyrics and editing them a lot more; this is the reason why "THAT" lyric is not yet posted (might not be in a long while) and for several others as well.
