I'll Let You Know

Seeing as this is the only way
For anything to get said and done,
All this worrying,
Intrusive and elegant,
A million words can only waste time
If you let it,
A missing piece that will never be found,
I'll let you know,
I'll let you know if I ever see it again.

Too many pictures to get through,
Hard enough to let some memories die,
We're always young at heart,
And old to stay alive forever.

Never again - again tonight,
Thinking it's alright - alright for a while,
Pain in all forms - forms that can last forever,
Pleasure and suffer - suffer being part of everything.

Through words, emotions met,
Like glancing over, and locking eyes,
In the shadow, beyond these pages,
Where we don't belong,
Cunning and spiteful,
Just like it once was,
If you're still searching,
If you're still wondering,
If it's itching,
I'll let you know,
I'll let you know if I ever see you again.

Too many memories that won't die,
Talking too much
In the night, in this cold,
To myself, to no one else.

Keeping to myself - myself, not just an image,
Killing time - time we don't have enough of,
Lost in the eyes - eyes that were mesmerizing,
Images last a lifetime - lifetime, a lifetime.

Soundless Explosions

(no instrumental sound)
Haunted by the waste that fills the heart,
Caught up with all the tragedy,
The spark that ignites them all,
The sacrifice that ignites the passion.

Haunted by deceit and contradictions,
Placed in a room without any windows,
Steel bars prevent the freedom we have fought for,
In a world where our minds can be a prison.
(/no instrumental sound)

Vices,
Destruction,
Discrimination,
Faith,
Manipulation,
Oppression.

Visions of progression,
In a land without corruption,
A dream like a light switch,
Turning off when there's nothing left.

A box filled with hopes and desires,
A loaded gun filled with hate and chaos,
The nails in our coffin hammered down,
The voices in the night silenced by the wind.

Vices,
Destruction,
Discrimination,
Faith,
Manipulation,
Oppression.

Haunted by the waste that fills the heart,
Caught up with all the tragedy,
The spark that ignites them all,
The sacrifice that ignites the passion.

(no instrumental sound)
Talking to the dead, feeling no shame,
Walking on rubble, no shelters left,
Absorbing the pain, at least there's something to do,
No sound, no sound, no sound, no sound.
