Paper Doll (Title to change)

Deep and deserted,
On his knees
Soaking in the rain,
Watching her fade away
Dying in his arms,
No time to breathe again,
No time to sit and stare,
Facing and twisting,
Can't take it anymore,
The sunshine is a dark place,
The warm air is a freezing wind,
Every smile is a disguise
For agony.

Images fade and reappear,
Voices in the air
Belonging to dead souls,
Objects shifting and shaping,
Welcome to your dead space.

He cradles her,
Hope for her to spit out water
And breathe again,
The blood rushing in,
And the bones begins to shake,
His vocal cords diminish quickly,
He can't let go,
He won't let go,
The sunshine is a dark place,
The warm air is a freezing wind,
Every smile is a disguise
For agony.

Images fade and reappear,
Voices in the air
Belonging to dead souls,
Objects shifting and shaping,
Welcome to your dead space.
