*Calignosity* [11:25]

****Whatever is in italics is sung faster and deeper - the rest is sung slowly****
*An updated version*

Satisfaction, but being left behind,
Everyone recognizes you,
But no one understands
What you're going through,
You can't believe it,
Tied up, everything in knots,
Hard times reaching the tip,
Life turned inside out,
Reliving past nightmares,
Stranded on the road,
No change of clothes
Just the dirt on your shoulders,
When you're living among friends
You feel estranged.

A cold night to forget,
A light that never shines again,
A fresh memory now fades,
A tear of joy turns to dust,
A clear sky turns dark gray,
A picture of love turns to hate,

And now you feel left all alone.

This downward spiral,
And no one believes you,
The pieces in your heart breaking down,
Watching the world growing old,
Watching yourself fold,
Nothing quite does it right,
Not so easy to start a fire
In this heart that lacks desire,
Your legs heavy as stone,
Your friends come and go,
Pictures burning bright,
The only light you will see tonight,
When you're living among loved ones
Sometimes you feel estranged.

A frightful night to forget,
A soul with no self esteem,
A sleepless evening in the rain,
A burden burning in your palm,
A reason to believe,
A fragile heart ripped in two,

And now you feel left all alone.

Your world built to crumble,
Life is not the same
Without certain people,
And everything fades,
Watching the sunset,
Looking at the stars,
But it all feels the same,
Dull, hollow and numb,
What is there to do
When she feels hopeless,
Welcomed with open arms,
But her spirit drained and damaged,
Empty roads ahead,
Traveling alone and broken,
She's holding on to all the pain,
Refuses to let it go,
Hurts so bad, feels so good,
Smoking her life away,
Sweeped in endless illusions,
Green, gray and black,
Senseless and motionless,
When she lives among the darkness
She feels estranged.

A lonely night feels so good,
A spirit left on the road,
A wondering heart of stone,
A morbid face brought along,
A bird of paradise in the air,
A flash, it all disappears,

And now she feels left alone.

A cold night to forget,
A light that never shines again,
A fresh memory now fades,
A tear of joy turns to dust,
A clear sky turns dark gray,
A picture of love turns to hate
.

Alone in the darkness,
Alone in the ditch,
Alone when surrounded,
Alone feels so good,
Morbid realities,
She was left out in the cold,
All ears but closed eyes,
Wondering in the rain
Looking for herself,
A shot in the sky,
Blind as ever,
She crashed and burn
So many times,
So little left,
Worked out in the open,
Living with scars and pain,
She never goes home,
She doesn't have a home,
Through different seasons,
She remains the same
Until the day she dies,
When she lives alone
She feels estranged.
