Into Flames

She extends her claws in his skin,
And it's over,
He looks into her eyes and whispers,
'Glad it's over,'
The rise of smoke in the house,
And in his lungs,
Virtuous disease, imperfect sounds,
In his days,
Nevermind the ring in the distance,
It will be erased.

And if we just sit back,
And let it takeover,
Maybe it will be better,
Gone in the wind
Where everything meets,
Sun will rise
And we'll all melt away.

What lies in her eyes, in her blood,
Is poisonous for him
The heart of the matter; the hate in the eyes,
Everything pushed away,
Flames in their hearts,
In the corners of the room,
Up against the wall
With those faces rising in the smoke,
In the heart of the ones you hate, you love,
Never be the same,
The noises fade away,
And she dies young.

And if we just sit back,
And let it takeover,
Maybe it will be better,
Be better! Be better!
But if we just hold on,
And let our hopes hold strong,
Maybe it will be harder,
Gone in the wind
Where everyone meets,
Sun will set
And we'll burst into flames.
